The LSC has always been strongly geared to studying and analysing public policies, with specific attention to the role of public, private and non-profit actors involved in designing and implementing them within a governance context. The research themes dealt with by the LSC in this field are: - Professionalisation processes in public administration. - The new professions in employment services. - Analysing training needs as a key tool of policies supporting human resources. - The subjectivity of the elderly. - Public entrepreneurship for civic participation. - Fundraising for non-profit organisations. - Knowledge management for trainers and non-profit sector workers. - Urban mobility. - Frontline services in railway stations. - Civil society organisations in the fight against cancer.
