CARISMAND Project Partners Gather in Malta for a Second Steering Committee (SC) Meeting

CARISMAND project entered into its second year of implementation and has already left track in the disaster management research efforts on European level. It has being time partners gather again and discuss on what have been achieved up to this point and the future implementation of the project.
The Second Steering Committee Meeting within the project has been held in Malta on 26-27 October 2016 and sees the participation of more than 35 project members. The host organisation - University of Malta, welcomed the team members in the picturesque town of Floriana, situated just outside the capital Valetta.
The meeting covered introduction of new team members, brief overview of the project progress between last SCM in April 2016 and October 2016, as well as the individual state of each work package. Among others, Gabriele Quinti from LSC presented an updating on activities implemented and main findings of the WP7 “citizens’ empowerment”.
