EVIDENCE Project: Categorization workshop in Girona

A “Categorization Workshop” on Electronic Evidence will be held in Girona (Spain) in October 8-9 2014. The workshop covers identification and classification of all relevant concepts and procedures employed in collecting, preserving, analyzing, and presenting electronic evidence in the EU Member States. The workshop is organized in the framework of UE EVIDENCE project, in cooperation with INTERPARES project.
The EVIDENCE project, among others, aims to provide information and insights about the electronic evidence in courts and to develop a specific Road Map for the realization of a Common European Legal Framework for using, collecting and exchanging electronic evidence. This Road Map will also include a research agenda that identifies issues, policies and actions to be undertaken in future programs and plans.
EVIDENCE (European Informatics Data Exchange Framework for Court and Evidence) is a project funded by the European Commission, under the Seventh Framework Programme (Grant Agreement no. 608185) and is co-ordinated by the Italian National Research Council. LSC is one of the EVIDENCE partners.
