SEMINAR "TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE SANITATION IN EUROPE"

An event entitled "Towards sustainable sanitation in Europe. Involving researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers and citizens in Knowledge Brokerage" will take place on September 20, 2012 in Brussels, Belgium at the European Economic and Social Committee EESC (Room TRE 7701 - 7th Floor, Trèves Building - Rue de Trèves, 74) from 9,30 to 13,30. It is the final seminar of the BESSE Project Brokering Environmentally Sustainable Sanitation for Europe) funded by the DG Research under the 7th Framework Programme (www.besse-project.info ). This will be the occasion to debate the promotion of innovation in the field of sustainable sanitation in Europe enhancing knowledge brokerage processes among the key actors involved, also in the perspective of Horizon 2020. The booklet "Knowledge Brokerage for Environmentally Sustainable Sanitation", containing BESSE key findings and policy recommendations, will be presented and discussed. Download the programme .
