Launch of the FUTURAGE Road Map, 18 october 2011

FUTURAGE is a two-year project funded by the European Commission, under the Seventh Framework Programme, aimed at creating the definitive road map for ageing research in Europe for the next 10-15 years. Laboratorio di Scienze della Cittadinanza is one of the partners of the project.
Drawn up by experts and specialists from Europe and beyond, the road map will represent the most extensive consultation ever conducted in this field to identify the main priorities on ageing and health from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The Road Map has been developed through seven stages of consultation over the last 2 years with 1,000 contributions from people and organisations, some of which representing broader groups of European citizens.
The Road Map will be formally presented at the European Parliament in Brussels, next 18 October 2011 .
